etiquette: tips for the green |
Rule No. 49: See those gouge marks
in the green? That's what happens when someone is too lazy to
pick up his feet as he walks across the putting surface. Don't
be that guy.
Rule No. 102: Speaking of feet, if we address a putt and can
still see your size 13Ds in our peripheral vision, you're standing
too close.
Rule No. 221: Anytime you see a ball mark, repair it. No exceptions.
Rule No. 279: When you finish the final hole, shake hands with
your playing partners and then get the heck out of the way. And
that means way out of the way. Pack up your equipment and talk
about the round when you get back to the clubhouse.
